The Mod revival of the late ‘70s and early ‘80s spawned a
number of acts who enjoyed mainstream success, foremost among them Lewes’ pop
rockers The Lambrettas. Signed to Elton John’s Rocket Records, the band had
three UK charting singles including their #7 cover of the Leiber and Stoller
classic ‘Poison Ivy’.
This compilation includes both of their studio albums, as
well as non-LP studio and live tracks.
