Madness For The Rest Of The Year!
23/09/2016
Madness’s brand new studio album, ‘Can’t Touch Us Now’ will
be released on October 28th. To celebrate, the band’s profile will
be sky high for the rest of the year, with their ‘House Of Common’ show pulling
in more than 20,000 people to Clapham Common recently, plus the new album, then
their annual House Of Fun Weekender in November and their Christmas arena tour
in December. Crikey, that’s a lot of Madness! To remind yourself why they are still
the nation’s favourite national treasure, check out their performance of The
Prince on Later With Jools
Holland last Tuesday, performed as a tribute to Prince Buster, who sadly
died on 8 September.

Michael Ball gets his OBE!
29/01/2016
Michael Ball was awarded his OBE at Buckingham Palace today, joking with other recipients that "it’s a nightmare in there!".
He was presented the award by the Prince Of Wales for services to musical theatre, at a point in his career when he’s already realised some pretty weighty ambitions: roles in Les Miserables, Phantom Of The
Opera and Sweeney Todd, two Olivier theatre awards and being the UK’s 1992 entry in the
Eurovision Song contest.
Michael collected his award alongside more than 80 people from the worlds of public service, charity work, business and entertainment. He was joined for the special occasion by his very proud father, Tony.
