Greatest Ever Flower Power captures the spirit of the part of the 1960s that encouraged free love, peace and goodwill to one’s fellow man. Some may say it was for hippies, others see it as a vital part of pop music’s journey, when horizons were expanded and everything was possible.

This album contains some of the best songs from that latter part of the ’60s, the summer of love. Almost psychedelic and always melodic, the music was more complicated, less naïve and less formulaic than that of the decade’s earlier years. Teenagers (who first came to the fore in the 1950s) were firmly established and were making their presence felt. This is their music; a joyful trip down memory lane. Utterly groovy!
