Buddy Holly initially played country music, but inspired by Elvis Presley, he switched styles to perform rockabilly and rock’n’roll, producing many enduring classics with his band the Crickets and vocal group the Picks. His three year recording career was ended tragically in a plane crash in 1959 when he was just 22. This 3CD set, includes performances by Buddy Holly, The Picks and The Crickets, plus informative introductions and detailed notes on each track featured.
